About Bali Surfing
The Bali International Surf Festival is Southeast Asia's biggest surf event, transforming Kuta Beach into a week-long celebration of wave riding and beach culture. From amateur heats to pro showcases, the festival welcomes all levels. Off the water, the programme includes surf clinics, film screenings, live music, and the legendary Bali beach party scene. Dry season timing means excellent swell and clear skies.
Surf Camps & Schools
Bali has a thriving surf camp scene catering to every level. Beginners can take lessons from qualified instructors on gentle beach breaks, while experienced surfers can join advanced coaching sessions at the top reef breaks. Most surf camps include accommodation, daily surf guiding, board and wetsuit hire, and video analysis. Prices typically range from $50–$200/day depending on accommodation standard.
